Audioconferencing – how to participate

1

The chairperson provides you with the dial-in number and audio entry code.

2

You, as well as the other participants, call the dial-in number at the agreed time. Enter the audio entry code and then press the hash (#) button.

3

The conference starts the moment the chairperson’s entry code has been entered. If you enter the conference before the chairperson, you will be put on hold (you will hear music).

Tips

Convenient dial-in option

For quick and easy entry into a conference, (e.g. by dialling in from your car), you can save the dial-in number and entry code to your smartphone’s contact list under a name you can easily remember. This is convenient when you are dialling in from your car or in case of recurring conferences. A special character is inserted between the dial-in number and entry code to save them as a single number (e.g. 0102991001,74500258#). You can now enter the conference with one press of a button. The special character between the dial-in number and entry code varies for each brand.

Dialling in from outside the Netherlands

Ask the chairperson for the relevant dial-in number from your country of residence.
The Dutch dial-in number can be called at any time.

During the conference

  • Address other participants by name when asking a question;
  • Set your device to listen-only mode as much as possible. To do so, dial 16 or press your device’s mute button;
  • Let other participants finish what they have to say as much as possible without being interrupted;
  • Individual Operator assistance is available during the opening hours of our Customer Service department; dial 00.
To set up a conference call or web conference yourself, you can register for a ConferenceCard of your own. For a free trial card (free of charge and free of obligation), please call Customer Service on 0800 0156 (from outside the Netherlands +31 88 11 88 770) or send an e-mail to conferencing@kpn.com.
